School Dinners

Hot school lunches are provided by EATS (Eats Anglian Taste for Schools), previously operating as Suffolk County Catering.

School dinners currently cost £2.30 per day. There is a vegetarian option but this needs to ordered in advance. Dinner money payments are to be made via the School Gateway. Please use the comments box to request vegetarian or to provide any other information.

Payments can be for the whole term, half term or a set number of dinners to save weekly payments.

 Healthy Packed Lunches

If you would prefer, you can send a packed lunch into school for your child. Please make sure that your child has a lunch box marked with their name. Packed lunches are eaten alongside school meals under supervision in the school hall.  We encourage healthy eating and have set a few guidelines for the content of packed lunches. These have been established for the benefit of all children and follow government advice:

Some children at school have nut allergies so we ask that no nuts or products containing nuts (e.g. peanut butter, nut bars) are included. This also includes chocolate spread which often contains a nut product.

Sweets, including chocolate, should not be sent in as part of a packed lunch - a single chocolate covered biscuit bar is fine.

Still drinks only please - no fizzy drinks or glass containers.

Please provide items that your child can open independently and avoid foods that are hard to manage. It is helpful if you make a snip in the wrapper of tightly packaged items.
