We would like to take this opportunity to thank parents for their support, kind messages and cooperation during the summer term. We were thrilled to send our video message to say how much we missed you all and have been overwhelmed by the positive responses from all our lovely parents and pupils. Below are just a few of your emails.
I hope you are all well.
I just wanted to say how much I loved the video. It made me laugh and brought tears to my eyes at the same time. It looked like you all had such fun making the video too. I’m sure the children miss you all as much as you miss them.
Hope to see you all soon.
It’s absolutely beautiful and I’m a sobbing mess
I must say that video was incredible. I had tears! So lovely and a great way to communicate with the whole school.
Fantastic. Thank you
C has just watched the video and wanted to say how much he enjoyed it and that he is missing school to. Thank you so much it looked like you all really enjoyed making it and thank you for your hard work over these challenging times.
Stay safe and look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
Oh my god I’m an emotional wreck after watching that!
It’s lovely- thank you to everyone involved. Mia was so excited to see everyone.
We have just watched the video! Well done to all you lovely staff! You have made our day (and made me cry! Haha). It was such a lovely thing to do for the children.
Stay safe and thank you for what you are doing
Oh wow, what a beautiful video, we loved it (even though it was really emotional). Thank you for putting this online for the children. It was lovely to see you all, we miss you too
Thank you so much for the video. We watched it several times. It's amazing and uplifting.
Thank you to Mrs Miles for putting it together so expertly, and to all the staff for their contributions.
I think it possibly meant slightly more to the parents in our household than the children! Having to try to home school and work full time isn't the easiest thing to juggle but you've made me feel more cheery through your video.
We appreciated you all before, but we definitely have a renewed admiration for the job you do for our children day in, day out, and the enthusiasm and passion you bring to the school environment. It takes a special type of person to do what you do. Suffice it to say that we're missing you too!
Our Beautiful Entry to Bury in Bloom 2020
Photographs of the finished sculpture made out of recycled plastic bottles which was displayed in the Abbey Gardens. Some of the flowers were painted by Key Worker children who were in school on Thursday 21st May. We had two bubbles open at this point and Mrs Nichol arranged for both bubbles to participate in the activity. Many thanks to all the staff involved: Mrs Nihol, Mrs Wiseman, Mrs Hillyer and Mrs Coleman.
